In an exciting turn of events, tomorrow I will be jetting off to take part in this years Darklight festival in Dublin!

Its an amazing opporunity to  see some great films by great film makers, meet some cool people and get down to some in depth discussions about games, art and films. We’re passionate about bridging the arts to games. We believe there are rich experiences ready to be made by the cross pollination of media. Thanks to the organisers of this years Darklight, i’ll be there trying to break some moulds with some smart people!

If you’re at the festival this weekend, come by and say hi!

The Button Affair – Premiere at Darklight

On one of my favourite mediums, twitter, earlier on today I said that there would be an update on The Button Affair. Here it is.

We’re damn serious about breaking some moulds, playing with arts and changing perceptions. After swapping ideas with the guys at Darklight we decided to get down to some serious hard work and get a demo ready for the festival. After many late nights, head banging and listening to this -> song - The worlds first playable burn of The Button Affair – Theft for Infamy will be ready to experience at Darklight!

If you’re in town, you want to see what its all about, then come to Darklight and where you see this sign…

you’ll find our latest game experience. Feel the Latin Music vibe, experience the Vintage Jet-Set Poster Art style and be challenged by the ‘just one more go!’ gameplay.

At the same time as the Darklight festival, over the next week, we’ll be sending out invitations to experience The Button Affair to all the amazing people that supported us with The Cat that Got the Milk. It’s the least we can do.

The guys at Darklight are reaching out to indie-gamemakers. We’re reaching back with the first premiere of The Button Affair.

This aint normal, its not how things are done, it might even be a crazy idea. But the crazy ideas are often the most fun.

Ollie
